The information contained herein is a synopsis of the long history of which we are very proud. PyroSignal has noted only those events which have shaped the history of the company and encouraged the evolution to what our firm is today.

 

August 23, 2012

    The operation of our ServiceView™ technology was thought of and its design contemplated with the design of our back office software applications. The completion of our back office applications are now capable of providing web based services to our clients. The system provides real time access to one's records for immediate updates as to the status of the systems which we have under contract. The call information portal will be being offered to all of our client's and our enhanced services has been reduced to $40.00 per system covered, which is minimal in comparison to the time which it will save our clients in allowing immediate full time access to your inspection reports, work tickets, and the online placement of service calls.

August 17, 2012

    PyroSignal expands its presence by supplementing our office and personnel operations. The office is located in close proximity to our main office, yet offers the ability through our State of the Art software to communicate intra office. In addition we upgrade our communications, through the purchase of a new Avaya phone system that enables all of our technicians to be reached through the inter office phone extensions.

 

February, 2011

    PyroSignal's software provider XLNT Software Solutions, of Lancaster, Pa. introduces their state of the art sales applications, to compliment the previously delivered suite of service applications. The sales and Job Progress applications integrates the work ticket, and scheduling applications, to allow for seemless integration of the product sales and delivery.

 

September, 2009

    PyroSignal is named the Top distributor for Siemens Fire systems throughout the world, in a year of growth and expansion. Siemens honors and awards the PyroSignal group the cherished cut glass towers representative of the pinnacle of the fire protection industry.

 

February, 2007

    In response to the New York City requirements for CO detection in many facilities, PyroSignal begins implementing carbon monoxide monitoring systems in conjunction with our reliable fire protection systems.

 

August, 2006

    Pyrosignal embarks upon a long term relationship with a New York icon in the entertainment delivery business.

 

February 6th, 2006

    PyroSignal completes the new installation of enhanced fire protection to a major college client in upper Manhattan who provides higher education to the New York area, and embarks on a long term successful relationship.

 
January 4th, 2005

    PyroSignal begins the deployment of several additional applications, in its state-of-the-art customer service and operations software. We also begin a rapid growth period in which we add many marquis accounts.

 

February 20, 2004

    PyroSignal deploys its Call Entry system to track the incoming requests for emergency service as a result of high demand and increased caller volume. This application enables us to actively track every call from it's initial receipt to the personnel response to the requested site to insure response.

 

July 18, 2003

    PyroSignal embarks upon a long term relationship with another major metropolitan area hospital entity. A unique designed fire alarm in this complex offers unique fire protection in the buildings in which care is provided to many suburban individuals.

 

September 1, 2003

    PyroSignal enters into an agreement with XLNT software Solutions, to assist with and aid in the design of a new J2EE database-driven application suite to provide for enhanced operations of our business and improved interaction with our customers.

 

August 25, 2003

    PyroSignal engages in a construction contract with a contractor to enhance the fire protection at a major New York institution, that provides cultural enhancement to millions of New Yorkers each year.

 

June 1, 2003

    Having economically re-established our leadership in the fire protection field, from the events of September 11th, 2001, PyroSignal undertakes the task of resurrecting our search for software to provide enhanced services to our customer base. We recognize the needs of our clients and their future needs to evolve to a more computer based foundation, for our day to day data collection and reporting of that data to our clients on an ongoing basis.

 

September 13, 2001

    Our personnel including our President, Mr. Gregg Montgomery begin the grim assignment of assessing the damages to the many customers who are affected by this cowardly deed. We begin reviewing the systems and starting over 15 clients on the road to recovery by restoring their building's fire protection systems to insure the security of their employees and their property. This included two of the most heavily damaged buildings downtown. This is a task that continues every day, and one which we at PyroSignal treat as a calling and which we take very seriously.

 

September 11, 2001

    PyroSignal mourns with the rest of the World the callous and brutal attacks on our country on this day. As a company we are fortunate in not losing any of our immediate family despite the fact that 11 of them are at work on the 81st floor of One World Trade Center when the devastation occurred. We are however, devestated by the tragic loss of many friends, customers and associates, who lost their lives on this date. Our sympathies go out to all who suffered loss as a result of this callous and visious attack.

 

October 28, 1996

    PyroSignal is instrumental in the enhancement of professional tennis in New York, by bringing on line the finest venue for tennis in the world.

 

February of 1993

    PyroSignal is requested to assist with the emergency repairs at the World Trade Center, in light of the fact that the system it had designed, commissioned and deployed a year earlier is the only one to have survived the damage of the 1st World Trade Center bombing.

 

January of 1988

    The efforts of PyroSignal are recognized by Pyrotronics and they embark on a long association to deliver the original Pyrotronics line of products. Pyrotronics is the cadillac of the industry at this time, and that relationship becomes instrumental in the growth of PyroSignal and the future of Pyrotronics to their evolution to Siemens today.

 

September of 1986

    PyroSignal comes onto the scene as a start-up fire protection concern to provide complete fire protection services.The firm is a qualified contractor which provides services and sales to several local concerns in the Metropolitan area. Our firm was founded in 1986, and has been providing quality fire alarm design, installation and service since that time to many New York area commercial, institutional, civic and governmental entities.
